Since 2001, SWV has sent a team of specialist consultants to attend and report on optical trade shows. A comprehensive report is produced, highlighting the innovations, new product launches and the news from exhibitors at the show.   Madrid EXPOOPTICA 2005 This is the major trade show for the Spanish vision care industry which is held in Madrid, every second year. The next show will be held on the 12-14 March 2010.   Brno OPTA BRNO 2002 This exhibition is held in Brno in the Czech Republic. The show is held annually, the next being from 5-7 February 2010. SWV reporters last covered this show in 2002. All sectors exhibited at the show were covered in the SWV trade fair report.
• MSOO
  Moscow MSOO 2005 This is an annual exhibition held in Moscow. SWV reporters last covered this show in 2005. All sectors exhibited at the show were covered in the SWV trade fair report.
• CIOF
  Beijing CIOF 2005 This show is held annually in Beijing. It is one of the two major shows in China, the other show is held in Shanghai. SWV reporters covered this show in 2005. All sectors exhibited at the show were covered in the SWV trade fair report.
• Vision 2005
  London VISION 2005 This conference is held every 3 years to promote low vision and sight loss. The next conference will take place in Kuala Lumpur, from 20-24 February 2011. SWV covered Vision 2002 in Gothenburg and Vision 2005 in London.
